AliExpress is an online marketplace owned by the Chinese tech company Alibaba Group. They connect consumers with third-party sellers, mostly based in China and other countries.
By using Aliexpress instead of Amazon, you mostly buy directly from the source, since everything now come from China. In resume, you just eliminate the middle man from the transaction.

1. Car door handle cover. These ones are for the Nissan Rogue (X-Trail) 2014-2020, but you can find them for other manufacturers too. They stick to your door handle and give a carbon fiber like look. Pretty nice !!
2. Mini CF Card Reader for iPhone & iPad – Lightning Connector. This one is the only reader that work with my Iphone SE.
3. Men’s Cargo Hiking Convertible Pants. Very useful to be able to remove the bottom legs of your pants, when it gets hot outside.
4. Dimmable Rechargeable Bedroom Bedside Lamps. I used two of them on my bed tables, they look nice and can change colors gradually by themself. They are rechargeable, so they will give your light when the house electricity is down.
5. Rectangular Pet dog feeding mat, made of silicone material, easy to clean and with raised edges. These mats can also be a safe surface to recharge all your batteries and mobiles.
6. Silicone soda and beer can lid – sealing leak proof – 6pcs. Very useful when not using all the liquid in cans.
7. 433MHZ Tire Pressure Monitor System Fit For Nissan X-Trail and Rogue – 4PCS. Much less expensive than the ones supplied by the car fixers.
8. 12-Cell Seedling Starter Tray Germination Box. You can push the plant out more easily and the normal ones.

14. Four Position Can Opener Anti Slip Cap Twister. This was exactly what I needed to open a stubborn Costco spaghetti sauce jar. I tried hot water, tapping the lid, and using cooking gloves for better grip, but nothing worked. Thanks to this tool, I finally got it open.
15. LED Rechargeable Desk Lamp for Bedroom Bedside. These lamps have three colors, natural, cooler and warmer. Unfortunately, the base is too narrow and the lamp is not stable enough. I had to make a base using the UV epoxy below (#19) and an oval mold (10x14cm).

20. Cordless 50000RPM Portable Compressed Air Blower with LED Light for PC Keyboard, Laptop and Electronics Cleaning. I used to blow compressed air from cans to clean my computer fan and its keyboard. This fan just do the job perfectly.

Simple summary:
AliExpress is basically a budget global marketplace where you can find extremely cheap products, but you trade price for longer shipping times. If you don’t mind waiting a week or two, AliExpress offers much better prices on many products. Since I started shopping there, I’ve hardly gone back to Amazon for the same types of items. Contrary to Amazon, when buying from Canada, we mostly never pay tax, transport or duty on the majority of items there..
